Patnos (Armenian: Բադնոց, Latin transliteration: Badnoc‘ or Patnoc‘, Kurdish: Panos[3]) was a historically important Armenian city, is now a district of Ağrı Province of Turkey on a plain surrounded by high mountains including Süphan, watered by tributaries of the Murat River. 82 km south of the city of Ağrı on the road to Van. 시장은 에브라 크릴섹스(HDP)이다.[4]
평원은 적어도 1300BC부터 정착되어 왔고 이곳은 우라르투 문명의 중심지였다. 그 도시에는 우라르티안 시대부터의 많은 역사적 유적이 있다.[5] 파트노스 주변에는 인상적인 우라르투 건물인 아즈나부르 테페 성 등 역사적 관심사가 있는 곳이 여럿 있다.
오늘날 Patnos는 가난한 시골 지역에 있는 작은 마을이다.
