루이야는 인도 서벵골 주의 북 24 파르가나스 구역에[1] 있는 바라크포레 2 CD 블록에 있는 인구 조사 마을이다. 콜카타와 가깝고 콜카타 어반 농지(Kolkata Urban Aggomeration)의 일부이기도 하다.

루야는 22°4에 위치한다.4′30″N 88°23′59″E / 22.7417700°N 88.3996200E / 22.7417700; 88.3996200.

차크 칸탈리아, 루이야, 파툴리아, 반디푸르 등은 티타가르/하르다하 주변의 인구조사 마을 군집을 이루고 있다. CD 블록 본사가 있는 카르나 마답푸르도 인근에 위치해 있다.[2]

Barrackpore subdivision(부분적으로 지도에서 나란히 표시, 지도에 표시된 모든 장소는 전체 화면 버전으로 링크됨) 인구의 96%가 도시 지역에 거주한다. 2011년에는 인구 밀도가 km당2 10,967명이었다. 소분할에는 16개의 자치구와 24개의 인구조사 마을이 있다.[3]

2001년 인도 인구조사를 기준으로 루이야의 인구는 10,703명이다.[7] 남성은 인구의 52%, 여성은 48%를 차지한다. 루야는 평균 문해율이 65%로 전국 평균 59.5%보다 높다. 즉, 남성은 71%, 여성은 58%이다. 루야에서는 인구의 12%가 6세 미만이다.
