메뚜기목의 곤충들 아시아와 아프리카에서 발견되 Schizodactylidae은 사구 귀뚜라미나 splay-footed 귀뚜라미로 알려졌다. 그들은 보통 사막과 모래 지역에서 발견된다. 종, Schizodactylus inexspectatus 등 포식성 있다.[1] T.B플레처가 하나로 개인 어떤 식물성에 먹지 못하다고 지적했습니다.[2] 화석은 초기 백악기부터 알려져 있다.[3]
