사울 레빗
Saul Levitt사울 레빗(Saul Levitt, 1911년 3월 13일 ~ 1977년)은 맥킨레이 칸토르의 퓰리처-프리제 수상 소설 앤더슨빌을 원작으로 한 성공적인 연극 <앤더슨빌 재판>으로 가장 잘 알려진 미국의 극작가 겸 작가였다.레빗의 연극은 후에 에미상 수상 영화로 만들어졌다.[1]
레빗은 뉴욕에서[1] 태어나 1977년 9월 30일 심장마비로 사망했다.[2][1]
레빗은 영국 소프 아보츠에서 제3제국에 대항하는 임무를 수행하며 [3]제2차 세계대전에서 제2차 세계대전에서 B-17 폭격기 승무원으로 복무했다.여행 초기에는 교통사고로 중상을 입고 얀크 매거진 보고요원으로 전근되어, 이 곳에서 일행이 전쟁 중 비행과 전투를 겪은 경험에 대한 기사를 여러 편 쓰고 발표하였다.[2]
