역사

이 방송국은 1991년 7월 4일 동북복음방송이 소유한 복음역인 WNGN으로 서명했다.[3] 이 방송국은 1998년 아리타우르 통신사에 매각되었는데,[4] 아리타우르 통신사는 피츠필드 탑 40 스테이션 WBEC-FM(당시 105.5, 현재 WWEI, 현재 95.9)의 시뮬캐스트를 실시할 목적으로 방송국 이름을 WZEC로 변경하였다.[5] 그 후 WNGN의 프로그래밍은 WNGX(91.9)로 통합되어 WNGN 호출 문자를 가져갔다.[4][5] 그러나 WNGN은 6월 30일까지 판매가 마감되지 않아 1999년까지 WZEC를 잘 운영해 왔으며, 다음날 아리타우르스는 WBEC, WBEC-FM과 함께 WZEC를 텔레미디어방송에 판매했고,[6] 그 후 9월까지 마침내 WBEC-FM 시뮬캐스트를 시행했다.[7] 다음 5월에 이르러서는, 이번에는 자매 방송국 WCPT (100.9; 현재 WKLI-FM)와 WKBE (당시 100.3, 현재 WFFG-FM; 현재 107.1)를 모델로 한 현대 성인 현대 포맷인 "The Point"로 다시 포맷이 변경되었다.[8][9] 이 방송국은 2002년에 복스 미디어에 팔렸으며,[10] 2004년에는 부드러운 성인 현대 방송으로 바뀌었다.[11]
