SHAPELESS LIVING THING

Obviously my redrawing is way more complicated than the original. The concept was there the first time around but the execution just wasn't right. I'm much happier with the new version.
When I originally read this entry in the Commonplace Book it made me think of the Michele Soavi film The Church. There's not a shapeless creature in it but the architect of an ancient church is twisted and tortured and entombed in the heart of the building.
Here's the shot from The Church. I think that's why I chose to make the creature swirly and twisted.
