Finnish President Alexander Stubb is scheduled to make a two-day working visit to Italy next week, hosted by Italian President Sergio Mattarella, according to a press release from the Finnish president's office.
Stubb and Mattarella will hold talks in Rome on the second day of the Finnish leader's visit, on 4 July. The planned topics of discussion include security matters and bilateral relations.
Then, later that afternoon, Stubb is scheduled to meet with Italian PM Giorgia Meloni.
"Before the official meetings on Thursday, President Stubb will take part in a debate analysing Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine and Europe’s security challenges in the Mediterranean and Africa," the release stated.
The first day of his visit, on 3 July, Stubb is set to meet Italian and Finnish business representatives at dinner hosted by Ambassador of Finland to Italy, Matti Lassila.
