Peacekeepers' basic wages will go up by 15 percent. They'll earn a minimum of 500 euros more per month. Furthermore, trainers will see additional allowances of 800 to 1,450 euros a month.

The wage increases and training allowances will lead to about 1.7 million euros in additional costs next year.

At the end of last year, peacekeepers also saw an increase in wages and daily allowances. Insurance coverage was also beefed up.
