Jaro ends HJK winning streak

Jaro Pietarsaari ended a 10-game winning streak by HJK in the Finnish national championship league on Saturday with a 1-0 victory played out in front of a home crowd.

The game was decided in the 63rd minute of play when Jaro took its 1-0 lead with the only goal of the match. On a pass from Jussi Aalto to inside the penalty zone, Irakli Sirbiladze in his first championship league match play, shot a low toe kick past HJK goalkeeper Ville Wallen.

With Jaro in the lead, HJK was unable to put together a comeback. Jaro took the win at the final whistle before a 3000+ home crowd.
