This is the last of my Defy mask series, finally complete after 3 years. You can see the other 5 in my earlier post!
A remake of my older painting titled Breathe. It was inspired by my visit to China last year. China is the land of my birth and it always pains me to see the air so polluted, even after all these decades, I still can’t breathe freely when I’m there, I have to wear a mask.
Despite China’s recent attempts to clean up the pollution, it will be a long time before the air is clean again. We should have kept our environment clean to begin with instead of trying to fix it after the damage is done.

Been so busy with conventions and stuff that I haven’t had time to draw. I’ll be at the SF Cherry Blossom Festival again this weekend in the Japan Town mall next to Kinokuniya.
I was able to squeeze in a quick wip of Howl’s Moving Castle. Hopefully I can finish this and my other wip soon. I also want to start up on my Knite and Fisheye Placebo comics too.
