This eye sketchbook took a while but it's finally all done!
It was fun playing with watersoluble mixed media on 140g paper not traditionally used for wet media.
I could "lift" any colours once it was on the page so I had work with the "marks" and try to salvage with dry media.
Really helped to build depth and made my eye drawings a tad more artistic I think...*LOL*

I love a hardworking makeup product that helps me save time and make me look presentable. Nars Mutiple can go on your eyelids, cheeks and lips for a natural no makeup look *winks* that is great for the ridiculously humid weather in Singapore.:)
P/s: I only paste the top layer of the cardboard packaging in my gratitude journal.
My pal Amy Tsuruta's ex mother-in-law is officially a centenarian! She's hoping to collect 100 cards from friends all over the world to celebrate Melva's 100th birthday. Of course I had to join in the fun and send her a card. I was told she likes blue and purple. :)
I've really been enjoying working with watercolours in my sketch paper book. Since it isn't watercolour paper, I can't really lift the colours once they are down. And if you add too much water, it just becomes a mess that you have to try to salvage once the paper is dry....which is the fun part actually. After this "ugly stage", I go in with my arsenal of mixed media supplies to make it look like a decent eye ...coloured pencils, paint markers, brush pens etc.
This year I'm all about using the stuff I have and enjoying them. Every day is special because you are in it. :)
Currently enjoying the Firefly bluetooth speaker, my fave concealer from Nars and a new fluoride-free toothpaste.
It has been a while since I decorated a paper bag. Still one of my fave projects to do...and give away. :)
This one is all pink and super girly. Even took out my white acrylic marker for faux stitching. And yes, still finished with shimmering mist of course.

Throwback to last November when I got the Miffy head cushion....she's super cute and a matching Miffy head charm (which I gifted to nephew #1's girlfriend). Also got to eat yummy food to celebrate the bestie's birthday. :)
Basically just cut out the container box to decorate these pages. :)
Lots of fun with this one. Took out the Caran dAche Museum pencils. Forgot how pigmented they are. Finished with regular coloured pencils and acrylic paint markers. :)
