When I saw this idea for a bioplastic version (@muddly_puddly and @a.playful.day) I loved the concept of being able to make a craft that could fully return to nature. I used about half a 15g packet of powdered gelatin for this. Beware it does set quickly so it's worth plotting out where to put each element ahead of time (I used the offcuts to help with this) and it's not easy to move the elements once placed.
