In 2018 our design team had the opportunity to work with director Denis Villeneuve on Dune. We worked alongside the Dune costume department to design various looks for Paul, Jessica, and the People of Arrakis. Design motifs within the city architecture and planet were drawn on for some of the shapes, as well as symbology surrounding the Sandworms. Protection from the heat, sand, and wind was also considered when conceptualizing these garments.
