Why not try out some weird painting stuff? Why not use some crappy old paint from a craft store? Why not make a bunch of them? PART 2!

This photograph was created using scanners, acrylic mixed with thinners painting directly onto the glass. I then place a selection of flowers to finish the composition. This technique is very experimental so I never know the final outcome when creating this kind of photography!

7 December 2020 This week I will be teaching a drawing lesson on natural forms and I want to introduce students to a colourful alternative application of drawing through the ornamental technique of sgraffito, which has historical and contemporary applications in wall décor and ceramics.

We all experienced grief in the last few years. It was personal for me, as recently I lost both my patents. This artwork is about that grief.
