The end of Winter in Coastal Georgia welcomes the coming Spring. We experience a soft and gentle transition as the warmth slowly emerges. This shot was taken toward the end of the morning landscape after the sunrise. That last grab shot is always irresistible.

We planted the smaller varieties of daffodils such as these 'February Gold' or 'Tête-à-tête' since in most years they flower well before the end of winter. Their leaves are never excessive and are inconspicuous by May when our garden has a mass display of azaleas flowers and Japanese maples with their new foliage. Several years ago we totally re-landscaped and re-planted our garden to make it exciting in all four seasons. Now late winter is a very colourful time for us with flowering…

Although as a Canadian (who left Canada) I don't like winter, I discovered that snow in Australia is actually quite nice.
