‘Gone Clubbing’ was the result of relentless stubbornness. First made to be part of my White Lines documentary, this artwork was once white and had a couple of figures skiing on it before I painted it green to pursue a different idea. I am not a perfectionist but I certainly want everything to be perfect. Abstract art can hardly be perfect since there is no real metric to measure it by.
