This technique is the easiest way to heavily distress furniture. Wet sanding sounds intimidating but is incredibly easy and uses supplies you already own.

Pantone’s color of the year this year is just … wrong. Seriously, they picked some light shade of green. I’m not seeing that color in that many places, but what I am seeing is TEAL.

I upcycled and painted this leather bench for a client who had switched from all heavy dark colors to a white and teal room. She asked me to make over this gorgeous leather top bench. I painted it all over in Rethunk Junk by Laura's(RTJ) Peacock Feather. I then did a light layer of Cloud by RTJ over it and distressed back to show the teal and wood.
