If you get three of them in one place... who knows what could happen! It's a mystery.
The Tri Suit is an Outfit that can be crafted at Madame Couture's for 300 Rupees and five Friendly Tokens. Its actual abilities are left a mystery before it is purchased, with various descriptions hinting that "good things happen" when three heroes wear the Outfit together.[2]
When all three Links wear the Tri Suit, they gain the combined abilities of the Energy Gear, Legendary Dress, Lucky Loungewear and Rupee Regalia Outfits. Each Link's Energy Gauge is increased by 50%, they automatically dodge 25% of hits, and the drop rates are increased for Hearts and Rupees appearing from broken Jars, cut grass, and defeated Enemies.[3]
Any Links who join the game through Download Play will be unable to obtain the Tri Suit. Though the Outfit appears in the Catalog, it is impossible to collect the required Materials in this mode.
Trivia
- The design of the Tri Suit is loosely based on the Super Sentai series, which was adapted in the United States as Power Rangers.
