Following on from his breathtaking debut EP Wanna Breathe in 2024, Canada’s finest Abstrakt Sonance is bringing his emotive and creatively rich productions back to ENiGMA Dubz’ Morii Records with Need You Now - 2025’s most emotionally raw drum & bass record.

Jam packed with heartache, adrenaline and cathartic escapism - Need You Now is an artistic response to heartbreak - with DnB proving as the perfect tempo to bridge the depth of hurt, with immediacy and vitality that these five tracks contain, including collabs with some of the UK’s top underground vocal talent.

Lead single and EP opener Only One sets the tone, with its rich melody, matched with crunching synths and raw energy - serving as Abstrakt’s immediate creative reaction to break up - pining for a time when love was reciprocated.

Next comes Rays - a deep, pulsating, and otherworldly melodic roller - featuring the mystical vocals of UK goddess Sahala, as its light radiates and cleanses your very being.

Missing You switches the vibe up to rich vocal liquid, with Tallulah Blue’s stunning and infectious melodies seeping in melancholy and reflection.

Butterfly serves as the perfect dose of escapism, with its luscious halftime soundscapes and clear trip hop influences before the epic title track Need You Now closes proceedings with its epic drum breaks, thunderous vocals and serious bass weight - bringing the EP to a climactic close, a crescendo of longing, emotional turmoil and catharsis.
