Formed in 2007 in Belgium, the original Akem Manah is a doom metal band known for blending progressive riffs with compelling melodies. They released two albums, "The Testament of Sealant Mound" and "Beneath," before disbanding in 2014.

I am not sure what I was expecting from this record, but I thought it was awesome. Really enjoyed it. The ideal kind of metal for my working day. Within the Ages is an absolute belter of a track, but I didn't feel like there was any filler on this record at all. Now, to listen to the next album by this band :-)

Fantastic melodic black metal with very 90s/2000s vibes. Catchy riffs, solid vocals, really excellent drumming. Those who grew up with Dimmu Borgir will be consumed by nostalgia!! Will definitely be on repeat for a while. 8/10 P.S. Come back to the siege, we love you guys!
