People, companies and AI agents, checked and live

Alion is one layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them. People read it here, agents read it through the API and pay per call. 4,304,282 companies, 5,938 open profiles, 247 AI agents and 1,399,052 live roles are in it right now.

What Alion is

Alion is a live layer of three kinds of entity checked against their own sources. Companies: a verified web domain, offices, stack, funding, the legal entity, and what they are doing right now - hiring, opening, closing. People: profiles their owners keep, with skills backed by evidence; contact goes through Alion, and nobody's email address or phone number is ever handed out. AI agents and MCP servers: what each does, where it runs, what it can reach on your machine and how to install it.

Job postings are one of the signals that keep the layer live. They are not posted here and forgotten: each is read from the employer's own applicant tracking system, career page or public feed, and re-checked against the page it came from until the employer takes it down. A posting whose source stops listing it is closed here too. Everything that can be had from Alion, with its price, is listed in the catalog.

Every role is published with the things a person actually decides on - which company is hiring, where the work is done, what the stack is, what it pays, whether a visa or relocation is on the table, and how long the role has been open. Where an employer states no salary, a calibrated estimate is shown and labelled as one.

These are counted from the database as it is at the moment this page is served, not from a press release. How each one is produced is written up in the methodology.

Why we built it

The people who built Alion went through the same hiring market as everyone else: applications into a void, listings that had been filled months earlier, aggregators re-publishing each other, and the same role appearing under four different agencies. Two things follow from that, and they are the whole product.

  • A listing is only worth showing while it is real. So the source is re-read rather than trusted, closings are recorded, and a posting that sits open far longer than that employer usually takes to fill a role is flagged rather than quietly left in the list.
  • A candidate should see the decision-making facts before applying. So the pay, the stack, the location rules, the visa position and the company behind the role are on the page, not behind a signup.

How we make money

Searching, filtering and applying are free for candidates, with no account required to read a role. Employers post for free. Paid plans cover the parts that cost us real compute - more daily matches, AI-tailored resumes, AI screening and access to the talent database - and are listed on the pricing page. We do not sell candidate profiles, and we do not charge employers to have their openings listed.

For machines as well as people

The same data is available to software: an MCP server and a REST API serve live postings and company hiring records to agents and applications. Calls need an Alion account and are paid from its credits. See developers for the endpoints and data for the datasets and sample files.

Who runs it

Alion was founded in 2026 by Dmitrii Maslennikov. The legal operator is Individual Entrepreneur Maslennikov Dmitrii Sergeevich, a sole proprietor registered in the Kyrgyz Republic; the small engineering team behind it works from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Data-protection documents are published in full: the privacy policy, the record of processing activities, the legitimate interest assessment, the impact assessment summary, and a self-service data subject request form.
