Tips for Disney Parks & Cruise Lines
If you're staying at any of the Epcot Resort Hotels such as Yacht Club, Boardwalk or Swan and Dolphin, then you can stock up on snacks, pop, alcohol and food really cheaply by using the Speedway Gas Station located just opposite the entrance to Boardwalk Car Park.
Easy to get to and far, far, far cheaper than buying from anywhere else on Disney Property.
We stock up from there on first day when staying at Swan or Dolphin and saves us lots of dollars.

A little secret I'm not sure many people know about is about the Vista Cafe on the Disney Fantasy And Dream (I'm assuming the dream because they're sisters). During the day, they offer free sweets such as rice krispies and little cakes. At night they offer grapes, cheese, and other hors d'oeuvres. My family enjoyed sitting here and having a few of these snacks before either the dinner or show. Highly recommend if they're still doing it!
Something has to be done about the walk from DS to Pop Century buses. I am 70 years old and can walk okay but it kills my legs to walk to the pop century buses at Disney Springs. It’s torture. Can’t there be some way of putting crosswalks at the beginning to have a shorter distance to walk?

I'm not sure if this is well known but if you want water around the parks head over to a quick service restaurant and ask for a tap water. I do this everytime and it's better than paying for water bottles.
This might be the biggest DUHH of all time but I just realised I SHOULD BRING MY LUGGAGE SCALE FOR MY RETURN TRIP !
Just now realised it is doing us no good sitting at home, and if weight increases the airport is not the place to reshuffle items in your bags.
Arribas Brothers Christmas "Ball Ornaments" come in square boxes with open sides so you can see the ornament inside. The problem is, how to safely transport it home in carry on/your back pack. I use empty, square Kleenex tissue boxes to protect these gorgeous ornaments. Simply open the side of an empty, square tissue box, slide the ornament box into the tissue box, and seal with Scotch tape. These square Kleenex style boxes are pretty crush proof and are perfect for protecting your new ornament. I can take three ornaments home in my large back pack in carry on. I thought this was a clever, inexpensive idea on how to take the worry out of getting these ornaments safely home. I found Arribas Brothers Ornaments in an upscale shop on Main Street in MK. They come in 4 colors. You can also use these Kleenex boxes to transport other delicate items home.
Just an FYI that Genie + is not an option for the halloween party. We were resort guests and entered Magic Kingdom at 4:30. We asked 3 cast members if they thought Genie+ would be a good idea for the party and they all said it was up to us as wait times for rides are around 30-45 minutes but lower closer to the end of the night. We purchased it at 5:00 ( it allowed us to do this) only to find out it doesn’t work for the party. Guest services were great and refunded our money.
Recently in June, me and my family stayed at the Polynesian. We wanted to Rope Drop Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. We decided to book a Minnie Van! The Minnie Van was a great experience, and we got to EPCOT really fast too! We were dropped off right next to France. By the time we got to RRA, it was only a 40 minute wait, which is very good for this ride, considering that it mostly has a wait way over an hour! And it turns out, the actual wait time was 24 minutes! When we got off, it was 75!

People on line are constantly asking what shoes are best for wdw. Thing is, there isnt one. Like my huband only wears one brand. and i havent found a pair to walk out of store in that brand. he cant even get one foot in his size in my brand. you need to go to a running store, not a sporting goods store, and have them evaluate your walk and your feet. then buy them far enough in advance that you can be sure. most of those stores i've seen will take them back in 30 days (before your trip lol). then get 2 pairs so you can switch off!! but some will say crocs, my DD wears crocs about 250 or more days a year and wont wear them at disney. what works for others may not work for you. find a professional!!
As a DVC member we like to use our perks as efficiently as possible. We order all our drinks and snacks from the grocery service Water Butlers a week before we arrive. They are extremely efficient and our order is always perfect. Then when we go to the park we don't waste time standing in line for expensive water and snacks. We even buy the Mickey ice cream bars from them for waaaay cheaper than at the park. Sunscreen, batteries, and shampoo are also in every order. Play smart!

We had an amazing and wonderful time celebrating Halloween at WDW Orlando, with one exception. Our 3 male family members (38yrs, 14 yrs, 10yrs) were completely grossed out by the filthy conditions in the men's bathrooms throughout the parks. We were at Disney Springs, Epcot, MK, and AK. Wet floors, wet counters, clogged toilets, empty towel containers and overflowing trash bins. Our fellas were hesitant to touch anything. Filthy. The ladies bathrooms were all clean and tidy. Our Disney resort rooms and campus were spotless. Just the parks men's rooms were gross.
