I primarily use Itch.io for dev testing games when I'm streaming. I own two companies (TNW Creations™️, LLC and Tawaci™️Media). I am a software and cybersecurity engineer. My work usually costs about $3,000 and upwards. One of my more recent clients included the Ivy League University Williams & Mary for software UI / UX.  

I'm not really here to sell anything because the bar for pricing on itch.io is incredibly diabolical and pathetically low - insulting to artists. 

Basically, the equivalent in web platform as, " You charge how much for that? My kid/niece/dog  could do it for free." Great, then you already know your freelancer and your target audience... not to mention, your worth.

So if you're on my page looking for KNOCKOUT WORK?.... here on itch.io? 🤣😂 No.   

I just don't work that cheap as my portfolio and list of clientele can clearly show you. *cough, ahem*

And while you're at it, stop treating artists like they can be fed scraps while other industries are being paid better.  As for all you artists that have swallowed the lie that the emperor's new clothes were worth only a piddling penny.... y'all look at yourselves better than that. Don't allow disrespect and don't perpetuate it.
