Xmas

Good morning everyone. It's time for a new challenge over at the Polkadoodles blog and this time the team were challenged to make something for Christmas. The challenge for you as always is Anything Goes. And don't forget from December we are changing to a weekly challenge.
Well I'm well on a roll with my Christmas makes, in fact I think they are all just about done now, only a couple of family ones left to do.
So here is my make for this week.

Now this started off as a couple of scraps of paper and a left over small image from one of the cutting room sheets from the Winnie Winterland collection. I looked at them and thought I would make one of my tags with them, and then changed my mind and decided to make a small card. And here is how it happened.
It was two scraps of paper and one of them was a bit bent over at the edge. But I loved the brightness of them so wanted to use them on a card. So I cut each little strip of paper into four pieces and mounted them onto a piece of white card in a patchwork style.
I then added some faux stitching with a white gel pen. I then mounted that onto a piece of green glitter card that was also a left over bit.
I then mounted that further onto another piece of white and then green glitter card before mounting onto a small white card blank. Which was also a left over bit of card after I had cut an 7x7 card from a piece of A3 card. I cut the image using the middle die from the Polkadoodles Elegant Nest set of 3 dies and mounted that onto 3D foam. Finally I had a few left over embellies that I added om 3D foam. And there you have it, a card from scraps!

CAS

Good morning and a very happy
So today over at the Digi Choosday blog the team were challenged to make something Clean and Simple, which you will see referred to as CAS. Of course the challege for you remains as always Anything Goes.
So here is my make for this week.
For this I've used the new Winnie White Christmas Printed Paper Craft Kit, it's one of the sheets of Paper Delice with an image on a background. I've cut the image out with the largest of the three Elegant Nest die set from Polkadoodles. I've mounted the topper onto 3D foam and added a layer of silver glitter card behind the white layer. Finally I added a few pearls and  a flower and some foliage.

So don't forget to pop over to the blog and grab todays massive discount code. See you soon.

Flowers

Good morning and a very happy
Today over at the Digi Choosday blog we were challenge to use flowers on our makes, and here is my make.
I've gone for quite a CAS (Clean and Simple) make this week as I wanted to show off those beautiful flowers. They are from the Winnie Winterland download collection. Or if you wish you can just buy the foliage collection on it's own HERE, it does include the flowers as well. So who says a Christmas collection is just for Christmas? This proves it isn't don't you think.
So, I started with an A6 kraft card blank and mounted some cream card on 3D foam and stuck down. I then got out my Elegant Nest dies and cut two of them out in the same card stock, and mounted on 3D foam. I then fussy cut the flowers and leaves and shaped them with a ball tool. I layered all the different sized ones up and glued a pearl in the middle of each flower. I then added some pearls at the top of the card to finish it off. Don't you just love how those dies emboss as well as cut! It's such a small thing but gives a massive impact!
Now don't forget to go grab today's discount code and have a looksie at my teamies makes.

Use a Die

Good morning everyone. Today I'm here with my challenge from the Polkadoodles blog. The challenge for you is Anything goes but the team were challenge to use a die on our makes for this challenge.

For this card I have used the paper pad from the Bella Papillon crafting kit. You can also buy the paper on it's own HERE. I have then stamped the flower from the Bella Fleur craft kit. You can also buy the stamp set on it's own HERE. I have then cut out a frame using the Elegant Nest set of 3 dies. I used the same die to cut out the flower and trimmed it down to size. I then added a bow and some flourish die cuts behind it.

Something New

Good morning everyone. Today I'm here with my first challenge of the year from the Polkadoodles blog. The challenge for you is Anything goes but the team were challenge to use something new on our makes for this challenge.

So I used some of the fab new products that I have from Polkadoodles. For starters I used the paper pad and foliage dies from the Belle Papillon collection. I distressed the edges of the paper and then added some copper gilding polish. I also added some of the polish to all the die cuts. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using the middle die in the Elegant Nesting set of 3 dies. I finally added some flowers from my stash.
