Soundmap is for REAL MUSIC FANS! Find songs, trade songs, complete artists quests, build your ultimate collection, and show how much you love MUSIC!

Map Drops: Walk around with the app open to collect songs from nearby drops. Each song can be common, uncommon, rare, shiny, or epic. Get those drops before they are claimed by someone else!
Trade: Have a song you want? See if anyone is trading them on the market. Put up your best offer and negotiate!
Quests: Love an artists? Complete their artists quests to collect all their discography!

Soundmap is a location-based app where you explore the world and find music. Users have to opt in to share location either always or while using the app. Both permission requests will be presented during onboarding. By signing up, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We collect location data to enable app usage even when the app is closed or not in use.

Barely works, when you're driving, your location has an incredible lag that makes most songs inaccessible. Even when you are exactly in range, it doesn't register the song. Also, everything good and fun is behind a $20 subscription pay wall. An app thats only purpose is to make you spend money and practically gamble. Just kinda frustrated at its inaccessibility and blatant p2w features for something that doesn't even work as intended.

super fun. like Pokemon go, but music. there's so many songs I didn't think they'd have music I like but they do. obviously they are trying to expand the app, in order to get the pro version you can send it to 8 people and have them join, but a lot of the people I sent it to, it says it won't run on their phone, which sucks. overall super fun

Great concept, great idea, not great execution. Pretty good overall but a couple issues, I'm on a Samsung. The single color bars are a little ugly on the top and bottom, but not horrible. Sometimes I'll zoom in/out and the drops will move and be in a different spot. Has constant location access, and still thinks I'm somewhere I was 2 hours ago. Annoying notification every time I close the app that doesn't say anything. Not great to navigate, and some things aren't explained well. Could be great.

I genuinely really like the app, it's really fun and does encourage me to go around town to get songs. A big downside is the amount of glitches though; showing the wrong areas, display widening or being misaligned, not showing correct badge number/other earned things, ECT. Not awful but some bug fixing ideas for next updates. :)

The app is fun and all, but my problem is that there is some certain music artist not on the app. This sucks because I can't get my favorite songs. Another thing is some artist don't have all the songs they do on spotify. And the quest doesn't always work. It will say I need one more song for platinum, and when I try to do the quest, it just says, "You already have all the songs, come back later." It's been an ongoing issue for a while now and hasn't been fixed. Please fix it!!

It's really not that hard to optimize an app for android. Buy a Pixel, use the app, fix the obviously glaring problems. It's ridiculously laggy. Drops fail to register taps to open. The camera cutout isn't properly hidden with an ugly bar on top. The navigation bar isn't transparent and has an ugly black bar. It's not that hard to find these things. These are the things that are stopping me from buying the pro version. 10/16 - Version 1.38.0 | The bottom bar just completely disappeared????

Love the app, but it worked better before I paid for it. Now it frequently lags and glitches, and won't update my location on the map as I am moving. I have to close the app about 5 times to get it to reset. Edit: Changed my review to one star. Location is still bugged, songs will show they're in my circle but cannot be collected.

Used to be a five star app and I've now lowered it down to 2. The app has gotten super buggy and laggy recently. It takes over five minutes just for it to load up and then when I try to collect songs sometimes it lags out. The issue is the app itself not my phone as ive cleared memory, storage, and even deleted and redownloaded the app. The concept is fun but with every new update, There seem to be more and more lags.
