The HUD app is extremely disappointing. Instead of matching you with people in your local area, it fails to do so entirely. In fact, I’ve even been matched with someone from another country, which makes the app frustrating and pointless for local connections. The payment system feels predatory, forcing you to pay just to see likes or send messages, with most features locked behind paywalls. The profile outline is also very limited, giving users little control over their experience.

Verification doesn't work. Bio is limited to like 100 letters. Why do these rtards put this random, hideous curved double crop on your photos? 😂 The app doesn't automatically size your photos to fit. It will zoom in hella far on one part of your photo. Over and over. You can zoom out but it wont snap into place. Then it will randomly zoom back in. 😭 You also can't rearrange your photos! Hahahahaha what a mess 💩💩

The app used to be pretty good. You do have a chance to have real people. Take that with a grain of salt though. I've actually experienced some of the HUD team impersonate profiles when I was getting help. Despite that, the main problem with this app is that the notifications do not work and there are dead profiles. I had attempted to submit a request to fix it but they weren't able to fix it. Edit: from 4 stars to 2 stars to 1 star. The app no longer loads and support cutoff communication.

Got app in 10/2022. It was bad until paying for the subscription. its now 01/2023 I was overcharged. I was paying $15.14/week then, I had an additional charge of $24 right after the $15.14 came out. I reached out to their support team for info on the charge. They requested a receipt when they don't send receipts at all. Never received one in the previous months I paid. Sent screenshots of everything I had. Email, bank statement etc. Ignored. The app kicked me out. Canceling subscription now.

Account suspended after about a week of use. All my photos are well within the ToS, I've literally sent one message to one person saying hello. App doesn't load anymore after receiving the suspension even after data clear, reinstall, etc. I've paid for the overpriced premium service and still going through this without a response or explanation. Bad service, would not recommend.

Been on the app 6 months. Only 1 view. I live 70 miles from 1 major city, 160 from another. Spoke with customer service, they blame my location. Never had this much of an issue even getting just views, not likes, with other apps. So beware, this app is either mostly fake profiles, or something is broken in the matchmaking system for half of America that doesn't live within 15 miles of a major city. I can't even tell you if you can message a match, after 6 months. Broken app, broken system.

I meet and match with more people on other apps. the filter settings are buggy, and almost always revert back to 200 miles distance. I'd prefer a 50mile. but the app doesn't seem to like that. Boosting doesn't seem to make a difference either. in my opinion the algorithm could use some adjustments.

Buyer beware. Downloaded and did a free trial. Wasn't satisfied and cancelled the trial a few days in, got confirmation and then I deleted the app. They've charged me 3 TIMES in the last two weeks for the same amount for the premium service despite me cancelling on the trial and now I can't get them to stop.
