More Resin Jewelry

I love making necklaces :) Too bad it takes about 3 to 4 days to completely make.

and another Edward one. It still isn't perfect but I will keep trying until I get a perfect one hehe

Some more Herb Charms :)

My friend Mandi gave me a bunch of tiny jars. This is what I have come up with so far.

Here is the coolest part. All the necklaces with the pink and orange stars are black light reactive and the dragonfly's glow in the dark.

More Resin Brains and Charms

Ok some of you may notice that at the end of each post there are boxes to check for reactions. I took the dislike button off. Someone or a couple people were going through to all my Twilight related posts and clicking dislike. I understand a lot of people don't like that movie or the books but if you don't like the stuff I create Move Along. If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. That just made me kinda upset so I felt I needed to address it.

Ok on to the necklaces. If you want a brain necklace I am selling them in my shop

This batch I made a pink glitter one. I'm not into pink but my friends are :)

Then a brain for me hehe

I made this Edward one for a personal swap. I made a Bella hat and necklace for Bella mittens. When you hold this necklace up to the light he sparkles.

of course a NIN necklace

Then I got the idea to make herb charms. I am pagan so herb charms are great.

Bella's Crochet Mittens *Twilight*

Ok it is just one mitten but I figured it out yay! It always takes me forever to finish mittens. By the time I get one done I don't want to do the other. I just took the one pic and flipped it to make 2. The actual mittens she wears in the movie are knit but I don't know how to knit so I made this.

Ok first step :Crochet a pair of mittens using your favorite pattern

Lay out a mitten and ch a piece from top all the way down to the tip and back up again. (I used an H Hook)

Then sc 2 rows.

Lay piece down on top of mitten then sew where the red lines in the picture are marked.

Then do another long piece the same size as the last one and weave it around. (First mitten in bottom pic) after that sew up the front where the red lines are in the pic. (second mitten in bottom pic)

Next sew all around the edge. Do an up and down stitch as if you were gathering something but don't bunch it. (I don't know what the stitch is called) and not a wrap around stitch. You want it to look like it is bumped up not blended in. (last mitten in bottom pic)

sorry about the horrible drawing. I took pics but the flash made it too bright and you couldn't see it very well. I hope this helps ;D

Jacob Wolf *Twilight*

I already crocheted an Edward Cullen inspired doll a while ago so I decided to make Jacob Black inspired doll since New Moon is coming out next month. Yay! I am so happy about how he turned out. My fingers still hurt though. I have searched online for crocheted wolves and didn't have very much luck so I went to just pics of wolves. What distinguishes a wolf from a dog? Well, from the pics, it is apparently the white underbelly. There are a lot more differences but that is what stood out the most for me. I think I am gonna take a break from using the small hook for a while lol ah the pain of art :D

Bella's Hat *Free Pattern* (Twilight)

****UPDATE****
Yay! This hat is now on GEEK CRAFTS :D

Ok so I was in my dreamy (OMG I can't wait till New Moon comes out) state (Yes I am a 26 year old Twilight mom. Don't judge :P) and I decided to try and make Bella's La Push hat. First I decided to check and see if anyone else had made it. Yep it had been done but what did I find wrong with the patterns? They left out the top ring. (You can see it in this picture)

I am obsessed with details, as some of you may know, so that just bugged the heck out of me. I had to do something. So I made this hat. Unfortunately even in my obsessive state of mind I can't control the fact that Walmart doesn't carry the right color of Grey grrrrrrrrr. So I just made a purple one. Since the movie is coming out soon I decided to post the pattern so you all can enjoy it :D
Sorry for the horrible pics of my head but it is really hard to take pics of yourself in the bathroom mirror lol

NOTE: if you don't know what fpdc or bpdc is just check out some videos on youtube or nextstitch it is really easy.

Edward

I finally made an Edward doll (Edward Cullen from Twilight) :D I always pictured him in warmer colors because of how sweet and gentle he is.
**********I have the Pattern at My Etsy Store**********
Yay more good news. My Edward was featured on craftster's January 2009 featured crochet projects
