I have some cool original concepts I really want to share, and I might need to give separate detailed info for each one.

Here are the concepts:

  • Wingcaster Hills: A coming-of-age adventure teen/adult situational comedy (with a touch of drama) set in the titular city about the lives and adventures of four tween girls. Think Dork Diaries, Bratz, the Proud Family, the Powerpuff Girls, Harvey Girls Forever/Harvey Street Kids, Turning Red, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and any shojo/josei story meets South Park, Duncanville, 6Teen, and any teen and adult animation.
  • Cardverse (tentative name for now): A superhero/magical girl story about four college freshmen (two girls, two boys) in Quebec, Canada find out they’re royalty in a realm called Solitaire and become playing card-themed heroes and save both Earth and Solitaire. Inspired by Winx Club, Sailor Moon, Shugo Chara, Doki Doki Pretty Cure, and Angel’s Friends.
  • Tideglow Chronicles: An adventure story about four Aqualings (aquatic humanoids) going on adventures. That’s it. This is just an aquatic girly version of Ducktales ngl. I’m gonna make some tweaks to this.
  • Scales of Dragonia (tentative name for now): Urban fantasy story about four draconic humanoid boys go on adventures and fight some crime. That’s all I got, I just made this.
  • Unnamed holiday personification story: A fantasy story about a group of personifications of holidays going on adventures.

I dislike rewrites of admittedly flawed works I enjoy, where they cater towards the author’s taste/ is basically their fanfiction and the author acts as if they are far better than the original creators when they could’ve that energy for an original work. *glares at Unicorn of War’s later season Winx rewrite, Celtic Phoenix’s Fixing RWBY, and DygoKnight’s Rewriting Naruto*

#juliee chat #text #txt #okay let me get in a tangent for a bit #unicorn of war’s Winx rewrite is basically a Bloom torture porn #he was not making his hatred of her very subtle in his writing #also he’s also forgetting that winx club is a kids show at the end of the day #even if the first three seasons are more mature than the later seasons they’re still for kids #moving on to Celtic phoenix’s RWBY rewrite I was so ready to dip when he made Roman Ozpin’s incarnation because he hates Oscar #for “being a blank slate to fill in Ozpin’s shoes” (I may have phrased it wrong but it’s something along the like that) #he could’ve expanded his character like he did with Cardin (ps I hate the velvet/cardin subplot) #like hello Roman is a petty crook that is an early season villain for a reason #he would be out of place in the fight against Salem #he also made Weiss extremely racist in the early volumes when in the original her prejudice is morally ambiguous at worst #it’s straight up flanderization #and DygoKnight’s Naruto rewrite? do not get me started #firstly that was more of a ‘the Sasuke show’ than the original shippuden #he made him too powerful. like Mary sue/gary Stu levels #that really shows his favoritism towards Sasuke #on the opposite end he ruined Hinata’s character in his rewrite #he turned her into a brainwashed anbu ninja that kills innocent people to ‘protect Naruto’. that’s yandere levels my guy #that’s even worse than her road to ninja counterpart and sai combined #speaking of sai he removed him and Yamato and merged them into an egotistical asshole #like dude at this point make an oc and nothing will change #back to the hyugas hinata’s dad is an even bigger jerkass here than in the original #he tried to kill hinata for being weak and goes to brothels and hires assassins to kill the prostitutes and bastard kids #to prevent half hyugas from being born. and when Naruto found out about it he fights him in a duel to the death and killed him #and becomes THE FREAKING OVERLORD OF THE HYUGAS. I AM NOT JOKING. #does he even like the show? do any of the FANFICTION (YEAH I SAID IT) writers even like the shows they are ‘rewriting’? #okay long tangent over. I’ve reached 30 tags already
