We took some pictures of this beautifully maintained "Telephone Box" In Broadford, Co. Kildare (only a stone's throw from the border with County Meath) on Sunday 24th June 2012. Broadford is a tiny village and the telephone box has long since been decommissioned with the arrival of mobile phones and Internet communication. But the local community have maintained it and it remains a stunning example of a bygone era. It is a reminder of how things used to be in Ireland. We have a nice picture…
