I've had quite a productive weekend sitting in the garden in the sunshine working with oil pastels and as a result, created the following three paintings. I did paint the first one in soft pastels as well but wasn't happy with the result. I find soft pastel colours lack vibrancy and the paintings look bland...or perhaps it's my lack of skill using them.
