The steamer I use: https://amzn.to/3SzI5RW  The butane blow torch I use: https://amzn.to/3WQcXQA  The vanilla paste I use: https://amzn.to/3ymheC1  Ingredients  Makes 3 servings   3 each egg yolks 1/4 c ( 50g ) granulated sugar 1 c ( 230g ) heavy cream  1 tasp vanilla bean paste or extract   1. In s bowl whisk together yolks and sugar, meanwhile heat the cream with vanilla to light simmer or until bubbles form around the edges of the pot 2. Pour the hot cream into the yolk mixture while whisking  3. Divide the custard into 3 remakins  4. Steam with the lid slightly open ( set a chopstick down before closing the lid ) for 13 minutes. Cut the vanilla bean in half and scrape the seeds. Add both the seeds and the pod to a pot with the cream, milk, 1/4 cup (50g) of the sugar, and salt.
