Isomalt Butterflies 👩🏼‍🍳✨ Today I show you another way to use isomalt, this time to make butterflies! To make a butterfly you will use your isomalt cyrstals along with a silicone mold. I tried multiple techniques over the past few weeks to come up with the best method for these molds. The result is beautiful, pastel, glass-like butterflies you can use to decorate a cake or put on a dessert plating. Have fun and don't touch the melted isomalt! It's hot! ☄️

This week we've been totally into the life cycle of a butterfly. We've read, wrote, and sang all about it. We also have two butterfly houses in our classroom, one with a monarch and one with painted ladies. Our monarch is in it's chrysalis. So much fun! My kids are completely loving it.
