Description Way back in 2002, when I took the digital coloring class at SCAD taught by Durwin Talon, we did this exercise. Basically, Prof Talon had these this work sheet filled with repeating heads drawn from one of two art models. He would bring in these models and then light there heads and we would use a marker and draw the shadows. These have proven to be useful reference over the years when I've need some help creating interesting and accurate look shadows on characters faces. Lines…

Light from the bottom in one of these photos is light from below and considered unnatural. The dark shaded areas are furthest from the light source.
