the love of colour and pattern are evident in the various indigenous weaving styles. Each tribe has its own distinctive patterns handed down through generations. The weaver pictured here is a Mandaya, from Davao del Sur.

Filip + Inna collaborates with tribes from the Philippines to create modern pieces with traditional elements. Founder Len Cabili fights back on the cultural appropriation of her country's tribal designs by letting the artisans take centre stage, with benefits for both makers and buyers of the brand.
