Healthy Ways I'm Prepping My Body for Labor Naturally at 37 Weeks, Fit Pregnancy, Women's Health
What I’m doing in these last weeks - save for later!👇🏻 👉🏻Ok but let’s play a fun game first. “Due date” is 4/4. When do you think baby boy will come?! I know as a FTM, they typically come late 🤪 So what am I doing to prepare my body?? And I say PREPARE for, not begin labor, because 1) we shouldn’t “chase labor” — baby will come when baby is ready! And 2) you can do all these things and baby is still going to come when he/she is ready 😁 1️⃣ walking every day, stretching exercises, and sitting on an exercise ball when I’m working for getting baby in good position 2️⃣drinking 2 cups red raspberry leaf tea a day 3️⃣using the gentle birth tincture (the one without blue cohosh since there is mixed opinions on that) 4️⃣6 dates a day! (So hard because I'd rather have other sweets bu

Mix & match and create your own contraction routine 💃🏻 Pick one ⤵️for the onset of
Macy Pruett | Pre-Postnatal Trainer on Instagram: "First Week Postpartum 👩‍🍼 Prioritizing REST! Rest is so important and must happen before any rehab begins. During this first week, I’m prioritizing rest and staying seated and relaxed (best I can with a 2 year old 🤪) First things first, for ALL postpartum moms, is breath work. Making that reconnection to your core and pelvic floor. It takes work and patience, but must be done before anything else! 👍🏼 So much sitting/laying down + breastfeeding positions can make a body super tight. So I’m incorporating these gentle movements to keep mobility in mostly my spine, but also my chest and hips. This can help avoid upper back pain and help us learn how to reconnect to our body 🫶🏻 I’m excited to be working on a Postpartum Core & Pelvic

How to Open Each Level of Pelvis for Labor | New Parent Advice | Labor & Delivery
Did you know that different levels of the pelvis are better opened with different types of movement? Certain types of movement are better for specific phases of labor compared to others, which means that if you are having a hard time getting your baby to engage in your pelvis or struggling with the last bit of pushing – you might need to perform two different movements or positions! 🤯 Skyler from @wellandworthyco and I have FINALLY teamed up to create the most comprehensive childbirth educat
My focus up until now has been total body training and Pelvic floor strength, and now that I’m in my 3rd trimester I am incorporating these daily stretches to make sure my hips and pelvic floor are open and ready for labor. They feel so good, and they’ve been helping with my low back pain. 👉 Do each move for 45 seconds, so as many rounds as you like! 1. Side Lunge • - amazing for stretching inner thighs, and relaxes pelvic floor 2. Hip Smiles • - relieves pressure in low back, mobilizes hips, and super fun 😃 3. Frog Rocks • - super deep hip and pelvic floor stretch, and puts baby in a good position 4. Feet In/Out Hip Stretch • - an important stretch for the internal hip rotation, which places your pelvis in the most open position 5. Knee Swings • - lubricates hip joints a

Pelvic Floor Stretches for Birth | Action Jacquelyn | Best Pregnancy Stretches | Prenatal Yoga
Releasing your Pelvic Floor is just as important as strengthening your pelvic floor because you don’t use your pelvic floor muscles to give birth. The PF needs to relax and open so that the uterus can contract and push the baby down. I usually end my workouts and day with one or all of these pregnancy stretches, and love that they can all be done at home in bed for when you’re super tired. • Cat/cow pose • Hip circles • Wide child’s pose • Pigeon pose • Knee to shoulder I’m putting together a Pelvic Floor stretching series for my Barre Definition app, good for pre-and post-natal.
