Overview

OpenChamber is a front end for OpenCode coding agents, shipped as a desktop app (macOS, Windows, Linux), a web/PWA server via CLI, a VS Code extension, and iOS/Android clients. It adds session goals, multi-model parallel runs with optional worktrees, guided diff walkthroughs, an in-app preview, GitHub issue and PR context, and scheduled prompts.

Who it is for: Developers running OpenCode agents who want to review work from any device

Strengths

  • Multi-run sends one task to up to five models, each in its own session or worktree
  • Same projects and sessions reachable from desktop, web/PWA, VS Code, iOS and Android
  • Remote access via QR-paired Private Relay, tunnels, LAN/VPN or SSH, without opening ports
  • Desktop build bundles the OpenCode CLI, so no separate install

Weaknesses

  • CLI/Web and VS Code need a separately installed OpenCode CLI
  • Agent runtime is OpenCode only
  • CLI/Web install requires Node.js 24.14+
  • Feature changes must go through an Ideas discussion before a PR

What it needs

  • no GPU
  • Docker + Compose
  • Needs OpenCode CLI, Node.js 24.14+
  • Models: OpenCode providers

Quick answers

Is OpenChamber open source?

Yes. Its code is on GitHub under the MIT license.

Can you run OpenChamber with Docker?
