Overview
GitMCP is a remote MCP server that turns a GitHub repository or GitHub Pages site into documentation and code-search tools for assistants such as Cursor, Claude Desktop, Windsurf, VSCode and Cline. It reads llms.txt first, then AI-optimized docs, then README.md, and uses GitHub code search for source.
