A.N.T.I. est une lettre d'amour brûlante dédiée au black metal et comme l'amour est le sentiment le plus toxique qui existe chez Damien, A.N.T.I. est en même temps l'album qui assassine le black metal. Pour atteindre une forme de sublime, Diapsiquir se joue de tous les paradoxes : le rap n'est plus un ennemi du metal mais un frère (Toxik passe même au chant clair avec un bon flow) amplifiant la crasse. Extrême mais mesuré !

Five years after The Dreaming I, this follow-up continues the terrifying and wondrous music of Naas Alcameth's nightmarish shadow realms, creating one of the most innovative and fascinating sounds in extreme metal. 'Ephialtes' is absolutely sensational, opening with incredible power, and building to one of the album's highlights starting at 1:31. 'Incubatio' is equally cataclysmic, with its dark ambient intro, followed by blistering blast beats, until the apocalyptic shriek at 2:51 — unreal!

I've come across this band several times, sampled their work, but never found any moment that convinced me to buy. 'Tales Of The Old Dreamer' is the gem I've been looking for. The atmosphere from 5:07 onwards is otherworldly, a type of post-black metal with depth and atmosphere that could astonish even the most experienced listener. The cover artwork fits the darkened soundscapes explored here. I don't listen to the other tracks much, because I'm always drawn back to the old dreamer's tale.
