Awards & Rankings Awards & RankingsFrance’s first school to train in VFX, ARTFX was founded in 2004 by a team of enthusiasts. Its leadership and teaching teams, made up of professionals from the film, visual effects, animation, and video game industries, maintain close relationships with studios and have a deep understanding of their needs. ARTFX is one of the few schools that remains independent: it does not belong to any private education group and thus remains free in its pedagogical choices and in keeping its campuses on a human scale.
A pioneer in its field, ARTFX also created its Community Ethics Charter, a shared framework that formalizes our values and commits every member to responsible conduct.
Graduation Projects are the films and games produced in the final year at ARTFX, designed to mobilize the full range of skills acquired throughout the program. They are regularly selected at festivals in Europe and internationally, and are widely awarded: 5 wins at the prestigious VES Awards, 4 trophies at the PIDS ENGHIEN, as well as Best Student Video Game at the Pégases, the Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques.
