Mendel's Laws of Inheritance

Mendel proposed three Laws Of Inheritance in living organisms, called Mendel's Laws Of Inheritance. They are - (1) Law of Dominance, (2) Law of Segregation and (3) Law of Independent Assortment. The Law of Dominance states the expression of only one of the forms of the parental traits in the F1 hybrid. The Law of Segregation states that for any trait, each pair of alleles of a gene split and one gene passes from each parent to an offspring.

🧬 Back to Basics: Genes, Chromosomes, & Inheritance Patterns 🧬 Did you know our genes carry the blueprint for human development and function? Packed into 46 chromosomes (44 autosomes & 2 sex chromosomes), they shape everything from physical traits to health conditions. 🧠 Mendelian Inheritance Patterns: 👶 Autosomal Dominant (AD): Only 1 mutated gene is needed to pass on conditions like neurofibromatosis & polycystic kidney disease. Kids have a 50% chance of inheriting the condition if a…
