Farewell My Friends

After blogging for nearly six years, I have decided to retire.  Blogging filled an empty spot in my life after losing my husband, but that has changed now.

As I grow older, it is taking me longer to do the things I want to do.  I am finding I need to prioritise my time more, and, although I have found blogging to be generally enjoyable, it is not one of the top priorities in my life.  So, out it goes!

I will no doubt continue to read some other blogs – and maybe even leave a comment occasionally! – but this will be my last blog post.

I want to say a BIG THANK-YOU to all my faithful followers and to all those who have placed comments over the years.  I truly have appreciated each and every one of you, and have been glad that you have been able to share my life journey with me over the last few years.

Relaxing recently at Raglan, with a glass of sparkling water

Wishing everyone the very best of happiness in the future,

May God bless you all,

Margaret xx

  6. Oh Margaret, while I understand, I will certainly miss your posts. The days can be full, and this is one less thing to fret over and have take up your time. I've loved the photos, the projects like your apron and your amazing artwork! I'm looking for one piece of art now that I want to take a screenshot of and remember, something about it really touched me. I hope you'll keep the blog up so we can all reread your posts...I haven't been reading for 6 years and I have to catch up on the older ones! Enjoy your extra time, take care of yourself, and you know we'll be here if you ever feel like you want to pop in with a post every now and then! Thanks too for commenting on my blog, I appreciate you taking the time. Sending hugs across the miles, Mary

  9. I will miss your posts Margaret, and it has been a privilege to walk with you... but I hear you.
If I recommence blogging next year, I will modify the number and length of my posts - the last couple of months away from blogging has been a much needed break. If I don't, I too will post accordingly.
All the best for you and yours in the years ahead
    Christmas blessings

  13. I am so sorry to see you stop, but I do understand that it can be something that is not a top priority,...like you I have slowed down. I just do the every other day thing, and sometimes that is challenging to get done. I have really, really enjoyed knowing you and hope you pop by or email me any time.
