I used Royal Blue with a touch of Violet and 2 drops of Super Black. 3. Melt the buttercream in a microwave at 5 second intervals mixing well between each burst. 3. Once melted, add more color if required and pop your buttercream into a blender. (Yes, my trusted old friend 😜) 4. Let the buttercream stabilise at room temperature (or in the refrigerator) till it firms up. #funkybattercream | Funky Batter | Djalexandernyc · Dandelions X Subanallah Oil Based Food Coloring, Cake Artist, Decorated Cakes, Base Foods, Food Coloring, Buttermilk, Bold Colors, Butter Cream, Refrigerator

Karina Llanes on Instagram: "Almond bark is great for beginner bakers! It’s delicious, easy to melt and color! If you do add food coloring make sure it is oil based food coloring. Mixing in between intervals is the most important part of melting chocolate so we dont just depend on the heat from the microwave to melt the chocolate but also use the heat in the container to continue melting the chocolate. In total i did 1 minute and 10 secs of course as you’re dipping, the chocolate will start thickening up. When that happens do another 10 secs. If you feel like its too thick add a bit of shortening to thin out your chocolate ❣️ hope this helps!
