Fire pit under 30$. 16 cinder blocks (16x8x6) and 8 cinder block toppers. I used nail glue to hold the blocks together and filled with lava rock to create a base. Fill the blocks with sand or rock to absorb the heat.

I re-purposed our fire pit we won't be using this summer into a sand & water table for my son. I measured the inside dimensions and the best bins that worked for my measurements were the Sterlite brand under the bed bins. I set them on top of two cinder blocks to get them to the height I wanted and to support all that weight. Then I just clipped them together with a few large bulldog clips to keep them together in the middle. *Don't forget to add cinnamon to the sand to keep the bugs…
