It’s easy to think of this as the Indian version of pasta, but it’s actually a traditional Gujarati preparation that is fully packed with flavor and just happens to be vegan.

Dal Dhokli is a comfort food, This is my mom’s recipe and one of my absolute fav. I am not a big fan of cluster beans, it tastes so amazing in Dhokli. But what surprises me is that even though it doesn’t have any dal in it still tastes so so good and that tanginess from the Tamarind is just wow. 
So if you haven’t tried this version, you must. You will definitely fall in love with it. 

Recipe -

Dough - 
Atta - 1 cup
Jeera - 1 tsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Haldi - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste 
Water 

Tempering - 
Ghee- 2 tbsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Green chilli - 1 
Curry leaves 
String beans - 1 cup
Haldi - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Dhaniya powder - 1 tsp
Salt 
Water - 4 cups
Thin tamarind water - 1/2 cup

1. Knead all the ingredi Dal Dhokli, Tamarind Water, Cluster Bean, String Beans, Red Chilli Powder, String Bean, Green Chilli, Surprise Me, Red Chilli
