SUCH a great exercise for your glutes - especially if you’re using a dumbbell. Here are my 5 key tips to making sure you perform them like a bad ass. 

✅ Tuck Your Pelvis: Engage your core and flatten your lower back to activate your glutes.
✅ Feet Position: Place feet hip-width apart, about 6 inches from your glutes.
✅ Engage Your Glutes: Squeeze your glutes at the top, not your lower back.
✅ Control the Descent: Lower slowly to maintain muscle tension.
✅ Neutral Spine: Keep your spine neutral—avoid excessive arching.
