A captain and the team’s only senior, Elijah McDonald truly appreciated the opportunity to play for the Pueblo County High School co-op hockey team. He played in 19 games and had two assists and helped the youthful Hornets to an 8-11 record, including a 6-4 mark on their home ice at the Pueblo Plaza Ice Arena. A season earlier, Pueblo County had a 2-17 record.
