Paget's DIsease::: diagnosis is made with serum Ca+2 (normal) + serum alk phos (elevated) + an image ... the first tests to do are serum alk phos + Ca+2 + bone imaging... then do a bone scan to check for other involved sites ... treat with bisphosphonates... this is a disease of increased bone turnover
