I tested these on either @kentuckymudworks brown bear or @standardclaycompany 266/710 (same color, just one with grog and one without!) They were SLOW bisque to cone 04 and SLOW glaze to cone 5!! 2K views · 13 reactions | Introducing Lavender Mist by @speedball_ceramics , part of their New Mid Range glaze series 5/6 I did a test on a mug and sample tile with texture. The glaze performed just like advertised on the very nice jar packaging picture. Glaze was applied three coats to an @lagunaclay White Stoneware. The sample tile had some texture that was partially muted due to thick coating of glaze. I’m going to try a thinner coat to see if I can obtain the same glaze blossoms with texture popping more. The glaze didn’t have visible crystals and dried quickly when applied. I think it’s a keeper for my color palette!
