Only thing better than birthday cake is birthday cake with a dragon on it! Bottom two books were chocolate cake. Top book and top tier were vanilla cake. Dragon was sculpted from Rice Krispies Treats and covered with fondant, then painted. Chain and wings were made of gumpaste.

Wings of Fire inspired cake featuring sea wing dragons with the summer palace as the top teir, and the bottom teir featuring the deep sea palace where the dragon eggs were kept. Chocolate cake, iced in buttercream then covered in fondant.

My daughter loves the Wings of Fire book series. For her 8th birthday we got an ice cream cake at Baskin Robins customized with an image of Glory. She was so happy!
