Mellow tones but don't be fooled. A few tweaks to the distortion pedals, a slightly different mix at the desk, and this could be one of the most vicious garage punk albums of the decade. As it is the lyrics are vicious enough. I came for the outstanding first track, an appropriiately rebellious anthem for the sad age we live in, but the rest is awesome too.
